Project planning & management: developing a project idea into a concrete proposal, and managing your project
Text: researching and writing; editing; and proofreading
Design: photography, layout & design; illustrations; and pre-press work
Publication & distribution (print): commissioning & supervising printing (for hard copy projects); managing distribution through our local and international partners
Digital marketing: converting your print project into an e-publication for local and international digital distribution, either for sale or as a free publication (or developing the project as a digital-only publication), including building a website to showcase and monetise your project.

Important note for book proposals
Please note that we have significantly scaled back our book publishing Prospect Press book publishing and distribution due to the current economic climate. While we continue to provide complete publishing solutions for both individuals and organisations, all book proposals must be self-financing. Additionally, MEP/Prospect Press only publishes books of particular Caribbean interest.
In order to assess whether we can handle any specific project, we need to have sight of the material (i.e. text and pictures if any); and information about the project’s funding, how many copies would be required, and what format is preferred (i.e. black and white or full colour, hard or soft cover, dimensions, approximate number of pages, photography or illustrations to be included if any) so that we can prepare an estimate if we think MEP/Prospect Press would be the best publishing solution for your project.
