On the road to Germany

Sixteen years after the devastating match when we lost the chance to go to the 1990 World Cup, Trinidad and Tobago has beat Bahrain 1-0 to advance to the 2006 tournament in Germany. Celebrations have broken out across the country–flags, singing, music, car horns blaring. And over at my personal blog I provided live coverage while the match was in progress. Now I’m about to head out to take in some of the post-victory atmosphere in Port of Spain.
