With thanks and best wishes as we close for the season 🎄

It’s been a challenging year for many — one that’s called for reflection, innovation, and determination. And with all of the challenges we faced — not least of which was the sudden passing just weeks ago of our founding Board Secretary and dear friend, Hugh Williams (whom we remember here) — it’s also a year that calls for gratitude and appreciation, perhaps more than ever.

So thank-you to everyone who worked with us in this, our 25th anniversary year. Thank-you to all of our clients and supporters who’ve been part of Caribbean Beat, Discover Trinidad & Tobago, and Prospect Press projects — our loyal magazine subscribers and readers; our advertising and publication clients; our industry partners and vendors; our writers and photographers; our social media followers; our e-newsletter subscribers; and all the people who’ve played any part in journey this year. Extra special thanks to our dear Hugh, whose wry sense of humour, and sensible and thoughtful guidance over the years we will always cherish, and dearly miss.

Greetings for the season, and here’s to 2017…

We’re now closed for Christmas and New Year’s, re-opening on Tuesday 3rd January. We then get ready to mark Caribbean Beat’s 25th anniversary in March/April. We’ll be in and out over the holidays, though, and checking email and social media (though with less frequency), so you can still reach us if there’s anything urgent.

So from our family to yours, we wish you all a truly blessed and restorative holiday season, with joy, peace, hope, and prosperity in the new year and always. We hope that 2017 will indeed be brighter, and one of the best years ever. But whatever challenges it may bring, we hope that we all can find the way to navigate them with grace and ingenuity, and to come out ever stronger. Merry Christmas, everyone, and happy new year!
